Eric Nolan- a Married Man and a Happy Day

Eric Nolan and Mary Lozada tied the knot
in their much-anticipated wedding held on January 2, 2014.
Theirs was the first wedding performed in 2014 in the Newport Beach Temple.
Eric's excitement was contagious!  Robyn and I were super-excited to help them get launched: attending their wedding, post-wedding reception, opening gifts with family at our house, and helping them pack their newly purchased Subaru and wish them well as they drove back to BYU-Idaho, where Eric plans to finish his last semester before receiving his bachelors degree in accounting.

 Just Married!
Walking from temple to greet well wishers.
 The first of  many photos!
Eric and Mary, with some of Eric's nieces and nephews.
His sister-in-law made all the hair adornments and bow ties for them--too cute.

Seldom do two such choice people find each other--and our prayers and good wishes for a happy, joyous eternal marriage go to Eric and Mary.
We hope they come back to visit us as Mr. & Mrs.

Going on recently in at Jeff & Robyn's in Foothill Ranch

In November, as viewed from the "National Geographic" channel in our kitchen window,
a family of mule deer walked behind our house-
a fourth (buck) was with the group but not pictured here.
In December,Robyn and I went on a one-day shopping expedition in Palm Springs: goal, to buy new furniture for the 2nd bedroom in Mom & Dad's Palm Springs condo.
Here I am taking one of the few breaks allowed by Robyn.
The result: new lamps, headboard, bureau/TV stand, to go with the new bed and bedding picked out by Marion.
Robyn and I enjoyed a wedding and post-wedding luncheon of a friend/client, at the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point.
A hug for my sweetheart
